New article making the MSM news rounds, now 12 foot thick sea ice around Greenland in summer is “normal” and because there is is much more ice than predicted its because of shifting winds, not cooling Atlantic water temperatures or the water pulse of cooler water under the ice. No mention of underwater volcanoes in the same areas that “the ice shifted” right at the mid-atlantic ridge.
There are record sales for ocean front property, even Miami Beach. If climate change is as the scientists say, why would anyone move to the beach? Even our buddy Al Gore purchased a mansion on the ocean, after winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

In part 7/10 of the Grand Solar Minimum Primer you will learn, if you haven’t already, that the sun’s natural cycles are the primary driver of climate on Earth not man made anthropogenic “Global Warming”. The sun is the only true external driver of the Earth climate system. There is no other force on Earth that can supply the amount of energy needed for the air to move and the oceans to circulate and the trees to grow…nothing. Why is it so hard to understand?
The bottom line is that climate is cyclical. like just about anything else in the Universe. Cycles are in everything. In fact, I challenge anyone to find a straight line that exists naturally (they seem to come from the minds of economists, as far as I can make out).
My attempts to simplify the explanation, however, can gloss over the actual complexity of all the forces at work.

I don’t like most models; they tend not to match observational data – this one does.

After earliest ever snow recorded in Japan, now reports of Aug 12 snows in Georgia along the Black Sea and near freezing temperatures in Alaska with Arctic temperatures below freezing in the same areas. Are we getting ready to repeat 1970’s style winters where Buffalo was buried and Iran got 24 feet of snow in one storm. It looks as if the sunspot count reflects this as we descend deeper into the grans solar minimum.
