BISHOP AIRPORT, CALIFORNIA REGISTERS COLDEST SEPT. 10 SINCE RECORDS BEGAN IN 1895
A cold Arctic injection plunged anomalously-far south into the Central/Western U.S. last week, toppling multiple all-time cold records as it went.
According to official NOAA data, a new Lowest Minimum Temperature was set last Tuesday, September 10 at Bishop Airport, California — which sits at an elevation of 1250m (4102 ft).
