IF you thought summer had arrived early think again – temperatures are predicted to plummet by up to 16 degrees Celsius over the weekend, with snow forecast for parts of Spain.

A front sweeping in from the west will bring with it strong winds, showers and a sharp drop in temperatures, according to the State Agency of Meteorology (AEMET).
